“I’m still pretty sure I was the happier side of this reunion. Sadie taught me everything I needed to know about being an emotional support animal. Didn’t expect that would come in handy,” she wrote in the caption.

The joyful reunion of NASA astronaut Christina Koch, a member of the Artemis II crew, with her pet dog following a groundbreaking 10 day voyage around the Moon, was captured in a touching video. The crew has returned to the earth’s surface after the historic mission. The crew of Artemis II took pictures of the Moon’s surface and the Earth as they flew around it. In addition to her, Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Jeremy Hansen made up the crew. They posted breathtaking pictures from their lunar flyby, depicting spectacular scenes and Earth from near the Moon. The pictures went viral on social media after NASA shared them on the digital platforms.
