Fascinating Ancient Caves in India: Plan Short Trip for Weekends

For a short weekend trip, you can plan to visit ancient caves in India. In Maharashtra, there are many caves you can explore. This November, you can plan this itinerary with family or friends. You can have an exciting tour by getting curious information, the history and witnessing the architectural aspects of these caves, which were mostly built in the 5th to 6th century. Kuda Caves: Kuda caves are located in a small village named Kuda. The village is on the eastern side of the north-shore of Murud-Janjira. It’s in Raigad district of Maharshtra.

Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves: These caves are interesting to visit. They are partly natural and partly artifical caves. It is the best example of Jain rock-cut shelters.
