In his forthcoming web series, ‘Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web’, which will release on Netflix on January 14, Emraan Hashmi, who plays a customs officer, will take viewers on an amazing adventure. The stunning trailer has been released and fans are expressing their love towards the actor.

‘Taskaree’ series unlocks the intricate workings of the global smuggling industry, a network of coded routes, fictitious manifests and deliberate deception.

The Mumbai International Airport, one of the busiest in the nation, houses a specialized customs task force at its center, which is led by an unyielding team of officers including Arjun Meena (Emraan Hashmi), Ravinder Gujjar (Nandish Singh Sandhu), Mitali Kamath (Amruta Khanvilkar) and Prakash Kumar (Anurag Sinha). These officers depend on their intuition as much as their intellect because they know that even one mistake can ruin weeks of monitoring.

The infamous kingpin Bada Chaudhary (Sharad Kelkar) and his formidable network, which runs through layers of deception and international channels intended to avoid detection, stand in their path. Fans are excited to see their favorites, Sharad Kelker and Emraan Hashmi, together on screen.
