What is Overeating?

Long-term Effects

Fat builds up when you consume more calories than you burn, raising your risk for a variety of obesity related illnesses. Regular overeating puts a strain on the body’s organs and can cause insulin resistance, greatly raising the chance of getting type 2 diabetes. Elevated levels of blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides are caused by frequent overeating, particularly of fatty meals.
