Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Re-Releases a Month After Its Initial Run, Here’s What Affected Kapil Sharma’s Film

Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s Dhurandhar caused a massive storm at the box office, starting right from December. Several other movies, including Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Ikkis, and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, were largely affected by the fierce competition. Released on December 12, Kapil Sharma’s comedy sequel couldn’t survive the box office clash. But the makers didn’t give up. Instead, a few weeks later, they unveiled a brand-new trailer 2.0, announcing the re-release slated for January 9, 2026. 

The new trailer invites movie buffs to the theatres once again to get a glimpse of Kapil Sharma’s romance-comedy. The film dives straight into humorous chaos, wherein the comedian essays the roles of Mohan, Michel, and Mehmood. Packed with double the fun, four weddings, mistaken identities, rapid twists, and laugh-out-loud scenes, the trailer has piqued the audience’s interest for the second time.

The laughter that the movie fanatics yearned for is all set to return to the silver screen within a few weeks of its release. The film narrates the story of Mohan, portrayed by Kapil Sharma, who falls deeply in love with Sania. However, due to religious differences, he is unable to marry her. Later, he devises an outrageous plan and marries three women, namely Meera, Ruhi, and Jenny, hailing from different religions. The makers believe the New Year 2026 is the ideal time to return to the silver screens and welcome the audience to celebrate love, joy, and laughter through wholesome entertainment. 

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 features a stellar star cast comprising Kapil Sharma, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan in the lead roles. Penned and helmed by Anukalp Goswami, the comedy drama is bankrolled by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and the renowned filmmakers Abbas-Mustan under the banners of Venus Worldwide Entertainment and Abbas-Mustan Film Production, in association with Star Studio18.
