Titled as ‘The Braves Of The Soil’, the 2-minute-43-second trailer stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in a whole different version. While committing to national responsibilities and duties, the trailer showcases a glimpse of their personal lives and longing. Undoubtedly, it strikes the right chords of human hearts, leaving viewers teary-eyed.

‘The Braves Of The Soil’ trailer runs on the melodies of a heart-warming song, ‘Mitti Ke Bete’, composed and arranged by Mithoon. Manoj Muntashir crafted the lyrics while Sonu Nigam’s voice soothes the souls of every listener and viewer. 

The song is an emotional homage to the courage and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. As the trailer unfolds, a heartfelt montage of the pivotal moments of the soldiers who have to leave their homes behind begins to play. Moreover, the trailer showcases the courage of the brave hearts and how they sacrifice their family time at the immeasurable cost of their duty. Not to forget, their uniforms carry the weight of a nation’s pride.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, with music composed by Mithoon, the song “Mitti Ke Bete” evokes strong emotions, highlighting the lives of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The action-war drama, slated for release on January 23, 2026, revolves around the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Border 2 aims to spotlight lesser-known tales of bravery and sacrifice from the Indian armed forces across different branches. 

Sunny Deol reprises a central role, while Varun Dhawan will play Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, Diljit Dosanjh will essay the role of Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, and Ahan Shetty will depict the character of a navy officer. Alongside the male leads, the cast features Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, and more.
