PM Modi’s Tweet for Gaza Reposted by US President Donald Trump

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted in support of peace efforts in Gaza, a post that US President Donald Trump reshared. In his message, Modi spoke of finding a “viable pathway” to restore peace and urged all parties to unite behind Trump’s initiative.

Trump reposted Modi’s endorsement without adding any remarks of his own.

In his tweet, PM Modi said:
“We welcome President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict. It provides a viable pathway to long-term and sustainable peace, security, and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people, as well as for the larger West Asian region. We hope that all concerned will come together behind President Trump’s initiative and support this effort to end conflict and secure peace.”

On Monday, the White House unveiled a 20-point plan aimed at ending the Gaza-Israel conflict and called for an immediate ceasefire. The proposal was announced following a meeting between President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office.
