Amidst Heat Wave, Mumbai To Face 10 Percent Watercut, Check Out Details
Mumbai is experiencing very hot weather. Given such circumstances, the 10% water reduction that BMC announced will now have an impact on citizens. The water cut will begin on May 15, according to the announcement.
The BMC stated that this water restriction will continue to be in effect until there is enough precipitation and the amount of usable water in the reservoirs increases. On Monday, the civic body made the announcement in response to instructions from the state water resources department, which had requested a reduction in supplies as a preventative measure to conserve resources in advance of the monsoon season.
