At the business that Larry Page and Sergey Brin established in 1998, total yearly sales exceeded 400 billion USD for the first time and the tech behemoth reported an 18% increase in revenue from the prior year during the quarter, as highlighted by the reports.
The Gemini AI from Google continued to expand at a rapid pace, adding 100 million monthly users from the prior quarter to reach 750 million by the end of the year.
Currently, Google Cloud’s revenue is increasing at a rate of more than 70 billion USD per year, representing a 48% gain. Alphabet is doubling down on its infrastructure lead as it looks ahead to 2026. With investments anticipated to be between 175 billion USD and 185 billion USD in 2026, the firm said a significant increase in its capital expenditure projection.
