Speaking after the match, Samson shared his feelings about staying calm and his movement while batting, stating, “I have been focusing on my starting movements and it has been working well. I learned this over the past few years and it’s strategic too, based on the bowlers and how you want to face them. Honestly, I usually stay this way, but you notice it more when I’m out on the field, so it seems like I’m calm. I’m also calm away from the game.”

Regarding missing his third century of the season, he mentioned, “Getting hundreds is always meaningful. I really wanted it, but I needed to think about my partner (Kartik Sharma) a bit more to achieve it; he was performing well and winning the game brings more confidence, joy and contentment. There are more matches ahead, so let’s see if I can get some more centuries,” Sanju gives an honest opinion.
