Several areas of Bengaluru were hit by severe rain on September 30, causing serious problems for those who travel by road. Water accumulated in various places and traffic moved slowly as commuters had difficulty getting to their destinations. Videos of flooded streets, lengthy traffic lines and cars navigating tough circumstances were shared by people.

Numerous roadways were submerged and severe traffic bottlenecks were caused around the city by the heavy rain. Many commuters posted images and videos of the downpour’s pandemonium on social media as they experienced irritating delays on their regular commutes.

Drivers were warned of a potential traffic interruption on September 30 at 11:04 pm by the Bengaluru Traffic Police due to the large rainfall. People were told by the police to avoid making any unnecessary excursions during heavy rain and to use caution while traveling in places where rainwater had gathered.
