Numerous videos depicting unhygienic food have appeared online, sparking a heated online discussion. Currently, food safety is a delicate subject. The concerns surrounding packaged food have recently come under question as a result of a viral video. While traveling by train, a woman is requesting action be taken regarding the hot cuisine that is offered in a plastic package.
The problem started when she saw that kachoris and rotis were served hot, being packed in plastic bags. The passenger was travling by the Vande Bharat train between Delhi and Prayagraj. In a video that Avani Bansal shared on X, she can be seen questioning a train employee about whether the rotis were microwaved in their sealed plastic containers. Even if the container didn’t indicate if the package was microwave safe, the employee admitted that the package had been heated directly.
Bansal stated in her video that she had first observed this problem the day before while traveling by the Rajdhani Express. Her kachoris were delivered hot in a sealed plastic bag. On the Vande Bharat Express, she had the same experience, which led her to ask questions.
According to her, all the packaging of Halka Phulka rotis said was that it should be kept in a cool, dry place. The packets didn’t specify if they could be microwaved. This was described by Bansal as a problem for public health.
