After months of waiting, 20th Century Studios finally released a fresh trailer of the highly anticipated film The Devil Wears Prada 2. Starring Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt in lead roles, the fashion drama sequel is slated for theatrical release on 1st May 2026. The much-loved film reunites the main cast, Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel, while keeping the narrative’s originality intact. Almost 20 years later, they return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine. 

Based on the best-selling novel by Lauren Weisberger, the first part was released in 2006. In the 2026 sequel, director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna introduce a new set of characters, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. The Devil Wears Prada 2 Trailer OUT: What to Expect? 

The Devil Wears Prada 2 features Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman in reprising roles as “Lily” and “Irv” from the first installment. The sequel follows the story of Streep as Runway magazine’s editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly. She will be spotted dealing with the decline of print journalism and attempting to find her footing in a dying industry. Moreover, she faces off against Emily Blunt’s character, her former assistant who is now a high-powered executive of a luxury group with advertising money that Priestly desperately needs.

Bankrolled by Wendy Finerman and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and Aline Brosh McKenna, the film returns to the world of high fashion and workplace politics on May 1.
