Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Rashmika Mandanna’s Cocktail 2 Release Date OUT, Teaser to Play With Dhurandhar 2
After months of anticipation, the first poster and release date of Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Cocktail 2 have finally been revealed. The much-awaited rom-com is scheduled to hit theatres on June 19, 2026. Directed by Homi Adajania, the drama is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film, which starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty in lead roles.
On Friday, March 13, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna took to their official social media handles to share the first look from the romantic comedy and announce the release date. Not just the release date, but there’s something more that they have shared.
Cocktail 2 First Look Revealed Along with Release Date
Shutting down months of speculations and rumours, the lead actors of Cocktail 2 finally put an end to the mystery. While announcing June 19 as the big release date, the actors also shared that the first glimpse of the film will play with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge in the theatres starting from March 18. For the unversed, Dhurandhar 2 will be released on March 19 with paid previews on March 18.

The cast and crew of Cocktail 2 completed the shoot in January. Filmmaker Homi Adajania earlier shared a series of fun pictures from the film’s wrap party. He captioned the post, “Cocktail2 shoot wrapped. I may be biased, but this one feels a tad special. Big love to my fab crew & cast for tolerating the absurdity that I am. Love you guys.”

The film promises a fresh mix of romance, drama, and high-energy storytelling. Bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, Luv Ranjan has written the script for Cocktail 2. Joining the crew is Santhanakrishnan, taking charge of cinematography.

And Kriti shows off her feet, with a tattoo on one foot reading, “Catch the sea.” Cocktail 2 marks Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor’s second collaboration after the successful gig of 2024’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
