Raakaasa OTT Release Date Out: Where And When to Watch Sangeeth Shobhan’s Horror-Comedy?

Starring Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika, Raakaasa hit the theatrical screens on April 3, 2026. After successfully completing its box office run, the horror comedy is all set to arrive online. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on May 1, 2026, and has already been officially listed in the app’s catalog. Helmed by Manasa Sharma, the Telugu-language drama stood out in all its glory after grossing over Rs 18.97 crore worldwide within 9 days. It is believed that the film will be released in other languages such as Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. An official announcement regarding its multilingual digital release is still awaited.

Raakaasa to Stream on OTT in May 

Bankrolled by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under the banner of Elephant Pictures, the film also boasts a stellar cast including Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Getup Srinu, and more in key roles. 

The horror comedy drama chronicles the journey of Veeru, a young man who returns to his hometown from the US with plans to marry his childhood sweetheart. However, he is heartbroken to find out that she is about to get married to someone else. Determined to stop the wedding, Veeru makes several unsuccessful attempts before falling asleep near an abandoned fort rumored to be haunted. The events of that night form the crux of this fantasy horror-comedy film.
