Once More Release Date OUT: Arjun Das, Aditi Shankar’s Romance Drama to Hit Theatres in August

After months of anticipation, the makers of “Once More” have finally locked a release date. Taking to their social media handles, they unveiled the release date of Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar’s romance drama as Aug. 28. Dropping a striking poster, the caption read, “Thirunaal Idhudhaan (The special day is here). Where the wait ends and love takes over… The Kaadhal (Love) Calendar has finally found its favourite date.”

Helmed and written by debutant Vignesh Srikanth, “Once More” was announced in July 2024 and went on floors. In a public interview, he shared, “We follow Arjun and Aditi’s characters as they fall in love. Not only do their characters have contrasting personalities but even their families and friend groups are contrasting. What happens when these two completely different worlds collide forms the major part of the story.”

After two years of waiting, the production house Million Dollar Studios finally shared an exciting update regarding the film. Scheduled to arrive in cinema halls on Aug.28, 2026, fans are all excited to witness the chemistry of Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar on the silver screen. Apart from the leads, actor Sona Olickal is also expected to play a key role. The film will lock horns with “Khosla Ka Ghosla 2,” “Coyote vs. Acme,” and “Etha” at the box office. 

Das last appeared in the heist comedy “Con City.” While Aditi Shankar’s latest release was her 2025 Telugu debut, “Bhairavam,” she was last spotted in “Nesippaya.”
