Mirzapur: The Movie Surpasses the Rs 100 Cr Mark, Continues to Dominate the Box Office With Strong Momentum

“Mirzapur: The Movie” has set the box office on fire even on weekdays. Released on Sept 4, the gangster thriller continues its phenomenal run in cinemas, showing no signs of slowing down as it maintains strong momentum. Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, and Ali Fazal, it has emerged as one of the biggest and most anticipated films in Indian cinema. 

The box office numbers are now reflecting just how massive the Mirzapur phenomenon has become. As of Day 6, at 1:30 PM IST, it has collected a net of Rs 1.50 crore by currently running across 4,378 shows. Take a closer look at the numbers.

On the very first day, “Mirzapur: The Movie” opened with Rs 25.75 crore. Since then, the numbers have been escalating. After a blockbuster first weekend, the film has minted Rs 15.6 crore through its Hindi version and Rs 10 lakhs in Telugu on Day 5 of its theatrical run. 

After adding another Rs 1.50 crore to its earnings, the total gross collections of the film stand at Rs 151.44 crore. Having already crossed the Rs 100 Cr mark in just 4 days, it continues its blockbuster run. Audiences continue to turn up in strong numbers to experience the film in cinemas after its OTT version created a frenzy. Not just that, the gangster actioner has also registered a strong repeat audience, with many movie buffs returning to the theatres for the second time.
