“Mirzapur: The Movie” has been dominating the box office since its release on Sept. 4. Starring Pankaj Tripathi and the iconic cast of Mirzapur, the film has emerged as a blockbuster, the first-ever OTT creation to transition to 70-mm screens. On the first day itself, the film collected Rs 25.75 crore by running across 11,135 shows with 42.7 percent occupancy. 

It continues its historic box-office run as a rare non-starrer-driven blockbuster, winning audiences over with its powerful story, beloved characters, iconic dialogue, and the extraordinary cult phenomenon built around the franchise. The Movie has raked in a massive Rs 36.5 crore in Hindi and Rs 30 lakh in Telugu on Day 3, resulting in a massive weekend at the box office.

Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, and Ali Fazal, has emerged as one of the biggest and most anticipated films in Indian cinema, marking the theatrical leap of one of India’s biggest cult franchises. During the weekend, the gangster thriller added Rs 32 crore across 11,256 shows and 52.7 percent occupancy, while on the third day it added another 36 crore. As of day 4, 12.30 PM IST, the film is running across 3,515 shows and has collected a net Rs 1.06 crore. This brings its total gross collections to Rs 113.60 crore.

Helmed by Gurmmeet Singh, penned by Puneet Krishna, and bankrolled by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment, social media has been flooded with rave reviews and glowing word of mouth. On the other hand, theatres are witnessing packed houses as fans turn up in huge numbers to experience the film.
