Bankrolled by Anshu Mishra under the banner of Star Beam Ventures Ltd, the makers are yet to reveal the release date. However, it will hit the silver screen during the monsoon of 2026. Here’s a closer look at the teaser.
The makers of Jeevan Bheema Yojana took to their Instagram feeds to share a captivating glimpse of the upcoming crime-thriller starring Arshad Warsi and Sanjeeda Shaikh in the lead roles. Warsi plays a double role of Jeevan and Bheema while Shaikh essays the role of Yojana. The quirky drama takes on the challenge of portraying two lookalike men whose lives become unexpectedly and dangerously intertwined, setting the stage for a chaotic tale of crime, deception, and dark humour. To elaborate more, the movie will chronicle the journey of Jeevan and his wife, Yojana, a couple struggling under mounting debt. Their fortunes take a turn when they discover Bheema, a stranger who looks exactly like Jeevan.
The couple further makes a foolproof plan to fake Jeevan’s death and claim an insurance payout. Soon, the situation spirals out of control when the man presumed dead is revealed to have ties to a dangerous diamond-smuggling network.
Talking about the film, director Abhishek Dogra shared that Jeevan Bheema Yojana is a film about ordinary people making an extraordinary, catastrophic decision and then spending the rest of the film paying for it. He further added, “The genre is dark comedy, but its heart is deeply human. It is about greed, desperation, love, and the terrible momentum of a lie you can’t stop telling. Arshad brings both men to life with a precision that constantly surprised us on set.“
