Hanuman Ansh Box Office Collection Day 53: Neem Karoli Baba Biopic Hits Rs 400 Crore Mark Worldwide

“Hanuman Ansh” is nothing short of a box office miracle. Mounted on a Rs 2 crore budget, the Neem Karoli Baba biopic has entered the Rs 400 crore club. It has outshone the biggest Bollywood blockbusters including, 3 Idiots, Kantara, Chennai Express, and Krrish 3. Directed by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, the film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand in the lead roles. After two months of its reign at the box office, the film has witnessed a slight dip in its earnings. However, the devotional drama is still minting crores even after 53 days of its release, hitting the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide.

Hanuman Ansh is a biographical devotional drama based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, which chronicles the life of Neem Karoli Baba. On Day 53, the drama raked in a net of Rs 2.35 crore by running across 4,298 shows. Talking about its overseas collection, it has minted Rs 38.75 crore so far, bringing its worldwide gross collections to Rs 404.25 crore.

On Sunday, the film garnered Rs 9 crore with 4,387 shows, registering 46 percent occupancy.  On Sept. 28, marking its 8th Monday, it observed a significant dip and earned Rs 2.35 crore by running 4,298 shows with 16 percent occupancy. That brings the total net collection of the film to Rs 309.38 crore in India.15364

For the unversed, “Hanuman Ansh” has been co-produced by a 21-year-old Anupriya Nagar, one of the youngest female producers. She who contributed the 1/3rd of total investment, solely based on her belief in Neem Karoli Baba’s blessings. All in all, the film has turned out to be a box office miracle, surpassing the legacy of several big hits hailing from Bollywood.
