Hanuman Ansh Box Office Collection Day 42: Neem Karoli Baba Biopic Hits Rs 300 Cr, Becomes 3rd Highest Grosser of 2026

Neem Karoli Baba’s biopic, “Hanuman Ansh,” has set the box office on fire days after its release. Today, as of day 42, the film is still running strong at the ticket window. Yesterday, the biological drama surpassed the whopping Rs 300 crore mark. Mounted on a budget of just Rs 2 crore, the film has turned out to be a blockbuster. In addition, it has been hailed as 2026’s third highest-grossing Hindi film. It has outshone Bollywood’s biggest hits and continues its momentum even a month after its premiere. 

Released on Aug 7, the film opened with Rs 10 lakhs. Gradually, it captivated moviegoers and skyrocketed its collections every weekend. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the biopic’s earnings of Rs 6.25 crore represent a 4.2 percent growth from yesterday’s net collection of Rs 6 crore.

Starring Shobhinaw Satyaa as Lakshmi Narayan Sharma aka Neem Karoli Baba, “Hanuman Ansh,” on day 43 minted Rs 6.25 crore net by running across 9,160 shows. This brings the film’s gross collections to Rs 287.40 crore in India. Overseas, it raked in another Rs 1.50 crore, taking its overseas gross earnings to Rs 21.75 crore. To sum up its overall worldwide collection, the film has officially grossed Rs 309.15 crore, becoming one of the highest grossers in India for this year. 

Even in its sixth week, the spiritual drama shows no signs of slowing down. An explosive wave of word-of-mouth praise from viewers has drastically reversed its fortunes, making its box office collection nothing short of a miracle. After Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar 2” and Sunny Deol’s “Border 2,” “Hanuman Ansh” seizes the third spot in the list of ‘Top Grossing Indian Films of 2026.’

Penned and helmed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film tells the tale of a saint whose spiritual journey led him to serve humanity through selfless love and blessings, eventually becoming the revered Neem Karoli Baba.
