Hanuman Ansh Registers Record-Breaking Fifth Weekend, Outshines Dhurandhar, Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2, KGF, Pathaan

After a few weeks of its theatrical release, “Hanuman Ansh” has created a storm at the box office. Mounted on a small budget of just Rs 2 crore, the Neem Karoli Baba biographical film is showing no signs of slowing down. The biopic opened with only Rs 10 lakhs on the first day by running across 355 shows. Today, as of day 33 at 5.30 PM IST, the film raked in Rs 5.50 crore with 5,198 shows. This brings its total India gross collections to Rs 162.69 crore. 

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film has surpassed the weekend collections of Bollywood’s big hits, including Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, Prabhas’s Baahubali 2, Yash’s KGF, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. As September rolls over, the film is reaching greater heights with its collections skyrocketing magically.

Thanks to positive word-of-mouth and strong reviews from moviegoers for allowing “Hanuman Ansh” has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster. A movie that started low on its premiere day, it continues to create history today with its record-breaking box office numbers. 

All Bollywood super hits mentioned earlier have failed to cross even half of ‘Hanuman Ansh’s’ fifth-week collection. Undoubtedly, the film has emerged as a rare example of word-of-mouth momentum transcending to a massive theatrical success. 

Based on the life and spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba, the film features Shobhinaw Satyaa as Neem Karoli Baba and Chandan K Anand as Ram Nandan Bhosale. Other star cast includes Anil Rastogi, Nikhil Dubey, Bhagvandas Patel, Neha Paranjpe, and Udaysinh Rajput in pivotal roles. Moreover, the biopic has been bankrolled by a 21-year-old, Anupriya Nagar, who has also confirmed its sequel. The second installment will dive deeper into the journey of Neem Karoli Baba, giving the audience a closer glimpse of his spiritual life.
