Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt to Team Up with Prime Video for Coming-of-Age Rom-Com ‘Don’t Be Shy’

On January 30, 2026, Alia Bhatt and her sister Shaheen surprised the audience by dropping a fun-loving glimpse of their next venture. Don’t Be Shy, written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, will be digitally released on Prime Video. The coming-of-age romance comedy is produced by actor Ali Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, under the banner of Eternal Sunshine Productions, and co-produced by Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani. 

The original Prime Video movie will narrate the story of Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das. She is a 20-year-old girl who believes that she figured out everything until her perfectly planned life takes an unpredictable turn. Find out what’s more in store!
