Over the years, Prabhas has witnessed fluctuating box office runs. However, he continues to come up with fresh releases to entertain his fans and audience globally.

Reportedly, the Rebel Star is set to return to the universe of Kalki 2898 AD for its second installment. Under the direction of Nag Ashwin, the sequel is expected to go on floors starting from February 2, 2026. Here’s what we know!

From Kalki 2898 AD to Spirit: Upcoming Projects of Prabhas

Prabhas has a line-up of big-budget films, resulting in an unusual filming schedule. The South actor will begin shooting for Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 on February 2. Deepika Padukone, who was spotted in the first part, has reportedly been dropped from the sequel. The actor is said to be reprising his dual roles of Bhairava and Karna.

After the shoot, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 concludes, the actor will return to the sets of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit on February 15. The shoot had already begun back in November 2025. Reports suggest that around 95 days of shooting are left. Alongside Prabhas stars Triptii Dimri in the lead role. After the release of the audio teaser and first-look poster, the makers of Spirit unveiled its release date as March 5, 2027. Vanga has reportedly charted every phase of the filming in detail, leaving almost no room for delays. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers.

If both schedules overlap, February might return as the busiest month for the actor. Not just that, reports suggest he still has portions of Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi left to complete.
