The 79th BAFTA Film Awards were held on Sunday, February 22, at London’s Royal Festival Hall. One Battle After Another dominated the awards night by bagging six prizes, including best film and director for Paul Thomas Anderson. On the other hand, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners made history by winning three awards, namely the most-decorated film from a Black director (for original screenplay), supporting actress for Wunmi Mosaku, and original score for Ludwig Göransson.
