Registration Open For Summer Fellowship Programme 2026 at IIT Madras; Check Eligibility, Stipend

Now you can opt for an Internship at IIT Madras as the Summer Fellowship programme registrations are now opened. Students can now check the stipend and eligibility. The 2026 Summer Fellowship Program at IIT Madras is accepting applications for a two-month internship with a monthly compensation of Rs. 15,000 for students in science, humanities, engineering, and management who are not from IIT.

Applications must be submitted by March 2, 2026, at 5 pm and the program is anticipated to start from May 18 to July 17, 2026.

The institute has encouraged students in their third year of undergraduate studies, which are, BE, B.Tech, B.Sc Engineering/3 year B.Sc with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics or their third or fourth year of an integrated or dual degree in a master’s program which are M.E, M.Tech or M.Sc, as well as students in their first year of an MBA, M.Sc, or M.A with a strong academic record, as measured by their high marks in university exams, to apply.
