How to Submit Digital Life Certificate Using Aadhaar? Know Easy Steps

Digital life certificates can now be submitted via Aadhaar based face ID. Pensioners must obtain their annual life certificate by November 30, 2025. Submitting the life certificate is a mandatory task to receive the pension. To get the monthly pension, it is important to obtain a life certificate and submit it on time.

The deadline for completing the procedure for senior citizens between the ages of 60 and 80 is November 30, 2025. Previously, retirees had to go to a bank or government office to apply for a Digital Life Certificate (DLC). However, the government has now made it possible for them to create and submit a DLC from their home using face authentication based on Aadhaar.

You Must Have: 

Your Aadhaar card must be registered with the pension disbursing organization, which could be a post office or bank. You should have an Android phone with a 5 megapixel front camera and most importantly, your Aadhaar card must be linked with the mobile number for the OTP verification. Additionally, pension payment order (PPO) number and pension account number, name of the pension sanctioning and disbursing authorities and bank account details are required.

How to submit the DLC by using Aadhaar based face ID: 

Face authentication can be used to send a digital life certificate. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has described a six-step online procedure in a social media post. Make sure your Android phone has a front camera with at least 5 megapixels and a live internet connection. Verify that your Aadhaar number is already connected to your pension disbursing body. From the Google Play Store, download the Jeevan Pramaan Face App and the AadhaarFaceRD app. Scan the face and conduct a thorough operator (retiree) authentication. Complete the requested details about your pension and personal life within the app. Using the phone’s front camera, capture a clear image. When you submit, you will get an SMS with a link to download your life certificate.
