After his former college friend Rutuja uploaded a man’s motivational story on social media, the career trajectory of a techie has garnered a lot of attention online. He turned a low level stipend into a profitable employment offer in little more than two and a half years. She shared that the tech professional started his career with a monthly internship salary of only Rs. 15,000.
However, he worked hard and passionately and in less than six months, he landed his first full-time position, making Rs. 7 lakhs every year. His bundle was then evaluated, which raised it to Rs. 9 lakh per year. Subsequently, he received another offer of Rs. 14 lakhs annually, which his existing firm equalled to keep him. After that, he secured a position with a Singaporean company with a pay of Rs. 25 LPA.
“One of my classmates got a Rs. 25 LPA offer from a Singapore-based company. He started with a Rs. 15k/month internship. After 6 months, he went full-time at Rs. 7 LPA. After 1 year, it became Rs. 9 LPA. Then another company offered him Rs. 14 LPA, and his current company matched it to retain him,” she wrote.

“Now again, he got a Rs. 25 LPA offer and even though his current company offered Rs. 23 LPA to make him stay, he decided to move. All this in around 2.5 years. I’m really happy for him. He truly deserves it because I have seen his dedication from college days. At the same time, I couldn’t stop thinking… If I had continued coding, would I be there too? I know I shouldn’t compare myself with anyone. Everyone has a different journey. Still… seeing your classmates grow makes you think about your own path. Congratulations, bro. Wishing you the best for your new journey,” she added further.
