The video had received more than 4.3 million views and hundreds of comments by the time of the most recent update, with social media users describing it as a frightening and alarming situation that needed to be addressed. Some say this is showing the horrible condition of Delhi air pollution, which could be harmful for the people who are living there. Many are saying that some strict initiatives must apply in such horrific conditions.
“What my phone recorded while I was flying between Vienna, Austria and Delhi, India. Because of a variety of causes, the winter months have severe pollution that makes it seem like you’re going from 8K resolution to the hazy 90s camera quality!” the user wrote in the video’s caption.
Delhi came in sixth among India’s most polluted cities in October 2025, according to the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CERA)’s most recent PM2.5 analysis, with an average PM2.5 concentration of 107 micrograms per cubic meter, which is three times higher than the average for September.
