Mercedes-Benz R&D Centre Collaborates with IIT Delhi for Joint Work
Officials said Thursday that Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India and the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi have teamed up to conduct collaborative research in fields that advance the future of mobility and engineering systems.
Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India announces a collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi to establish shared avenues for the development of knowledge through cooperative research initiatives.
By establishing a five-year master research agreement, the groups have formalized this, boosting initiatives to bridge the gap between academia and business via collaborative research.
According to a statement from MBRDI, the organization will prioritize research fields that advance the future of mobility and engineering systems, reported by PTI.
With the goal of producing scalable technological solutions, the program will bring together interdisciplinary researchers from IIT Delhi and engineering teams from MBRDI to collaborate on projects involving shared research, prototype development and real world validation, according to the media reports. With over 8,500 people working in Pune and Bengaluru, Mercedes-Benz Group’s biggest research and development facility outside of Germany is the MBRDI, which was founded in 1996.
