‘It Ends With Us’ Author Colleen Hoover Is Cancer-free, Clarifies Rumours and Misleading Clickbait!

Collen Hoover is one of the finest authors worldwide. Her books, like ‘Verity’, ‘Ugly Love’, ‘November 9’, and more, are among her most widely read books. Moreover, the author’s book-adapted movies, including ‘It Ends With Us’ and ‘Regretting You’, also created a buzz. 

Back in December, Hoover took to Facebook and opened up about her health. She had been diagnosed with cancer and had undergone treatment. She also revealed that she had one day of radiation left to treat the cancer.

On January 12, the star posted a grimacing selfie of herself in the hospital, dressed in a blue hospital gown and her hair in a messy bun. She informed her fans and followers that her radiation treatment was completed. She is now cancer-free.

In the first week of January, the author and producer shared where her cancer likely came from. She wrote, “I got results back today from the geneticist that say my cancer did not come from family genes. It also didn’t come from the two main causes of the cancer, which are HPV and excessive hormones.” Adding to that, Collen Hoover revealed that her cancer was the result of her poor lifestyle, which included a lack of exercise, a poor diet, and stress. 

The bestselling author also shared in her post that she is happy and grateful to be alive, but she hates eating vegetables, getting off the couch, sweating, and even when she knows that science is right. 

In October 2025, the author was forced to miss the premiere of the romance movie Regretting You and other events because of her diagnosis. However, it is good to know that she is recovering and winning the battle against cancer. On January 13, her next book, ‘Woman Down,’ was released, but the author noted in one of her posts that she hadn’t set up a tour yet.
