Everyone dreams of working with Google. Now, Google is giving you an opportunity for a Summer Fellowship in 2026, offering a stipend of Rs. 10 Lakh.

The application period for Google’s US Public Policy Fellowship program for the summer of 2026 is now open. Students are given a paid chance through the program to collaborate with public interest groups in Washington, D.C., on issues related to internet and technology regulation. The application deadline is April 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET. Students have the opportunity to engage in technology policy and earn 12,000 USD.

Who can apply?

Candidates must have been admitted to or be enrolled at an accredited institution by August 30, 2026, in order to be considered. This comprises master’s, PhD and bachelor’s degree programs at colleges and universities. Students have the option of enrolling in school full-time or part-time. Applicants must also be at least 18 years old as of January 1, 2026. Google’s Previous Policy Fellows are not permitted to apply, according to the reports.

For full-time engagement of 40 hours a week, fellows will receive a stipend of 12,000 USD from their host organizations. Fellows will get 6,000 USD or about Rs. 5 lakh, for their 20 hours each week of part-time involvement.

Note for the International Students

International students are eligible to apply for the fellowship. They must, however, have the necessary license to work in the nation where the fellowship is granted. Since Google has said it cannot help candidates get work authorization documents, international students must be sure they are eligible before submitting an application.
