SpaceX is getting ready to launch its 14th Starship rocket on Monday, September 28. The launch window is expected to open at 7.15 am CT (8:15 a.m. ET) and last for 75 minutes, marking a major milestone in the development of a fully reusable spacecraft.

The maiden orbital mission of Starship is anticipated to be Flight 14. Prior to a scheduled splashdown in the Pacific Ocean west of Chile, the next expedition is expected to reach a height of about 275 km, complete around six orbits and last almost 10 hours.

After staging, Starship’s upper stage will move into orbit to complete a major milestone that is deploying 26 next generation Starlink V3 satellites, a payload anticipated to increase constellation capacity by 26 Tbps, which is roughly ten times that of a regular Falcon 9 launch, as per the reports. The launch window for SpaceX’s Starship Flight 14 opens in India at 05:45 pm IST on Monday, September 28, 2026.

After the satellite has been deployed, the vehicle will perform an in-space deorbit burn with a single Raptor engine, attempting a controlled re-entry and a final splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
