India scored 253 after batting first. The game saw the highest score ever recorded in the knockout round of a T20 World Cup. In the T20 World Cup semi-final against England, India’s Sanju Samson hit 89 runs off 42 deliveries to help the country achieve a total of 253/7, which was its best score at Wankhede.
