IPL 2026: MI’s Rohit Sharma Breaks Virat Kohli’s Long-Standing IPL Record in the KKR Match

Rohit Sharma smacked a 38-ball 78 runs, including six sixes and as many fours, bringing MI’s total score to 221. The 38-year-old added 148 runs for the opening stand with Ryan Rickelton, who scored 81 off 43 balls. During this chase, Rohit broke fellow veteran Virat Kohli’s long-standing IPL record of 1,159 runs. Sharma tops the list of players with the most runs against a single team in IPL.
