Vote counting has begun for Mumbai’s high-stakes BMC elections, with 1,700 candidates contesting 227 wards. Early trends show the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance leading with 61 seats, followed by Shiv Sena (UBT) at 37 and Congress at 10.

As per current trends, the BJP-led alliance is ahead in 118 wards, while the Thackeray brothers’ alliance leads in 73 wards. The Congress-led alliance is leading in 15 wards so far.

As per BMC trends, it is stated that AIMIM is leading in wards No.134, 136 and 137
BJP candidate Rajput Vikram Pratapsingh has won Ward 50 with 10,274 votes, defeating Tanvi Dinesh Rao of Shiv Sena (UBT), who polled 7,740 votes.
