Peer pressure is widespread and when interacting with people and forming friendships, many adolescents experience it. Teenage is a period when an adult is accountable for establishing lifelong friendships that will provide them with support, encouragement, companionship and the ability to share anything, but it’s also a period when teens may experience peer pressure in the cutthroat environment.

Key strategies include establishing clear, values based boundaries, fostering healthy friendships and situations to help them withstand bad influences.
