A post has gone viral on social media, where a user says that a cafe in Bengaluru put up a notice stating extended meetings will be charged for Rs. 1,000 per hour. The user has shared an image on X. His post is gaining popularity on social media and many netizens are commenting on this with their own experiences and opinions.

Cafe culture has boomed in India in the last 10-12 years. Many corporate professionals visit cafes for meetings, work, discussion and deals. Now this photo has grabbed the attention of the netizens because cafes allow time to sit for long hours for work, chat etc.

On X, Shobhit Bakliwal uploaded a photo of the notice. It was evident from the photo that a printed sign had been attached to the cafe’s wall. The notice stated that meetings were not allowed there and that meetings lasting over an hour would cost Rs. 1,000 each hour. He just wrote a short caption with the photo, stating that he spotted the sign in a Bengaluru cafe.

Many netizens have expressed their views. Many are commenting from the business point of view of cafe. If anyone visits this cafe for a meeting and the meeting goes for an extra hour, then, according to the notice, the person has to pay the extra money. Many highlighted this point.

Bengaluru is now an IT hub. Many professionals work here. The city of Bengaluru is well-known for its startup scene, remote work opportunities and extended coffee talks. Informal gathering places are frequently found in the city’s cafes and restaurants. However, this may be a pain for the owners of small businesses. Tables stay occupied for hours during busy periods and orders are placed more slowly, according to the reports.
