Noida International Airport has finally commenced with the passenger flights from Monday. The first Indigo flight, which took off from Lucknow, landed at Noida International Airport in the morning.
The Lucknow International Airport began commercial operations on Monday, almost three months after its March 28 opening, when the first flight from Lucknow landed at 7:55 am. Flight number 6E-2279, the return service, is scheduled to depart the airport at 6:55 pm and arrive in Lucknow by 8:00 pm.
The initial flight will run on Monday, according to officials and normal operations on the route are planned to start at a later time. The launch is anticipated to facilitate transportation between Noida and Lucknow, where the majority of passengers presently rely on either flights via Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport or road travel.
