According to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), 17 passengers were evacuated safely at 7.45 am after the train stopped mid-ride.

17 passengers were rescued at 7:45 am, according to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

Rajesh Ananda Bhojane, a councillor of Ward 175, said, “The train heading to Wadala halted. The passengers were transferred to the train coming from Chembur. The Fire Brigade came later and started their operation. Monorail officials are saying that it was a supply issue… I urge the government to resolve this recurring issue.”
