“I Got Scared,” Woman Says Zepto Delivery Agent Kept Asking to Enter Her House, Post Viral

A video of a woman describing how she faced a terrible moment when a Zepto delivery agent tried to enter her house despite she refused it several times. Now, the video is going viral and this incident has again highlighted the safety of customers.

According to the video, the agent kept asking her for five minutes to enter her house. The woman, who described her ordeal in a video posted on Instagram, claimed that the delivery man kept insisting on entering her home, ringing her doorbell and later banging on her gate, leaving her terrified.

In the video, the woman stated that the event occurred after a Zepto delivery partner came to her home to deliver an order. He requested some water after delivering the parcel. She asked him to bring the plastic water bottle she handed him. He then asked her for more water by saying, “Can I please come inside for five minutes?”, according to media reports.

He kept asking her after that. She told him, “No, there’s space to sit outside. Please go sit outside. Please don’t come inside my house.” The delivery partner persisted in requesting access despite having rejected his appeal countless times. He rang the doorbell several times as she was closing the gate. He begged again for entry, but she claimed she only opened the inner door to inquire about his needs. The woman also claimed that after she closed the door, the delivery worker started pounding on her gate, which heightened her concern. “I closed the door again, and I got really scared,” she said.

“Zepto, can you please look into this, please? I tried to raise a complaint, but I just got like some bot to listen to me, and I added my comment, and it just said an investigation is underway without giving me any reassurance that this will not happen again. So can you please look into this, Zepto?” she requested at the end of her video. Zepto answered the complaint after the incident became viral.
