July started with the heavy monsoon and after hitting Mumbai it reached Delhi. Now the city and surrounding areas are facing waterlogging and streets are flooded with monsoon water.
Many locals discussed how just a few hours of rain disturbed daily life as videos of flooded roadways went viral. Videos posted by residents of various areas of Gurgaon showed vehicles having trouble moving and roads covered in water.

Additionally, there were several online responses to the videos. “It’s not Gurgaon, it’s Venice,” one user said as they compared the city to Italy’s famous canal city.
Waterlogging was also substantial on the road leading up to Airia Mall in Sector 68 of Gurgaon. Traffic disruption was caused by congested roads, potholes and vehicles getting stalled at numerous points, according to the reports.
