On Tuesday night, Novak Djokovic defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in a closely contested match to advance to a record-breaking 15th Wimbledon semifinal.

Djokovic beat a calf injury he sustained in the first set to win 7-6 (12/10), 3-6, 6-3, 6-7 (4/7), 7-6 (10/4)  in a Centre Court Classic that lasted five hours and 15 minutes. The former world No. 1 booked a replay of last year’s semifinal by matching Felix’s excellent ball striking with his grit, according to reports.

Novak Djokovic is still attempting to win his 25th major championship to this day. Sinner won that match as well. Djokovic, who hasn’t won a Grand Slam since the 2023 US Open, would be aiming for his eighth Wimbledon championship. Defending champion Sinner defeated Jan-Lennard Struff in the quarterfinal earlier on Tuesday to advance to the Wimbledon semifinals.

Tuesday saw Sinner defeat the 36 year old Jan-Lennard Struff 7-5, 7-6(4), 6-3, setting up a semifinal match with the renowned 24 time Grand Slam winner Djokovic. Sinner is currently two wins away from defending his Wimbledon crown, reports ANI.
