According to a FICCI-Anarock research, India’s market for Global Capability Centers (GCCs) is expected to reach 105-110 billion dollars by 2030, with more than 2,400 GCCs employing over 2.8 million workers and expanding at a 10% CAGR. In 2025, GCCs were the driving force behind record office leasing.

They accounted for more than 40% of the 80.5 million square feet in the top seven cities, with Bengaluru leading the way with 33%. With a 15% share, Pune came next, while Delhi-NCR and Hyderabad each made up around 14%.

India had more than 1,700 GCCs, employing more than 1.9 million people, by the end of 2024. The GCC market has grown significantly, going from USD 30 billion in 2019 to roughly USD 64 billion in 2024. The forecast is that it will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 10% to between USD 105 and 110 billion by 2030.

The report also highlights a gradual geographic spread of GCCs outside the largest cities, with tier-II cities like Jaipur, Kochi, Indore and Coimbatore becoming the next growth hubs, aided by better infrastructure, lower costs and a growing talent pool.

India’s FDI inflows climbed to a provisional USD 81.04 billion in FY25, a 14% increase from the previous year, indicating sustained international investor interest. The demand for offices is also growing more varied, with coworking companies making up 23% of leasing activity, followed by BFSI at 18%, as well as consulting and manufacturing businesses.
