Delhi’s air quality is getting worse day by day. As per the latest reports, the air quality has fallen into the ‘very poor’ category, raising serious concerns about respiratory health. Last year, till January, the first week, the situation got bad, but now it has got even worse. Last month, the government tried to clean the air with cloud seeding with artificial rain, but it seems it doesn’t work much. The situation is now more horrible than previous years.
As predicted by the Air Quality Early Warning System, pollution levels will be higher and there will be a significant risk of respiratory issues between November 6 and 8.
According to the PTI, the air quality has hit 278 in the AQI category and could get even worse by evening. Since yesterday, the situation is worse than last month. While traveling to Delhi one must take precautions and follow advice. According to Delhi’s physicians, the city’s thick blanket of smog and hazardous air has caused a significant increase in eye-related diseases, such as allergies, dryness, burning sensations, and excessive watering, in both children and adults, as per some media reports.
The city continues to breathe the grey air, which has detrimental effects on people of all ages. There are many potential causes of air quality, but comparative methods will have an instant impact on the city.
