Zomato’s CEO, Deepinder Goyal, has resigned from Eternal Limited, a parent company of Zomato. Now, Blinkit’s Albinder Dhindsa is to become the next CEO of the company, as per the reports. The biggest leadership change is going to take place in this giant organization.

After obtaining shareholder approval, Deepinder Goyal has chosen to leave his position as the CEO of Eternal Ltd. and will remain on the board of directors as vice chairman. Blinkit CEO Albinder Singh Dhindsa will immediately assume the role of Eternal’s new CEO; key managerial staff will also join him.

The revisions take effect on February 1, 2026. According to Goyal, he is now free to concentrate on disciplined, core expansion at Eternal since he is moving on to explore riskier concepts outside the firm. An important update on leadership changes at Eternal, with this caption, Deepinder Goyal has shared this major update on X.

Previously in charge of leading Blinkit through its purchase and break-even period, Albinder Dhindsa will now be responsible for the company’s daily operations and priorities. Goyal highlighted Dhinsda’s contribution to the growth of Blinkit’s staff, culture and supply chain.

The goal of the leadership change is to meet the legal and operational needs of running a public organization in India. Goyal stated that the demands of being the CEO of a public corporation require undivided attention, even though he has the capacity to handle his present duties and pursue new endeavors.

He stressed that the move gives him the freedom to pursue concepts that don’t match Eternal’s risk profile, while simultaneously allowing the business to maintain its laser like concentration.
