Amidst the dreadful news of the Delhi Red Fort car blast, the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 are witnessing brisk voting as citizens cast their ballots in the final phase today, on November 11. As of 1 p.m., Kishanganj ranked highest with 51.86 percent turnout, followed by Gaya with 50.95 percent, Jamui with 50.91 percent, Bank with 50.07 percent, and Kaimur Bhabhua with 49.89 percent. According to the Election Commission of India, at 3 p.m., the state recorded a voter turnout of 60.40 per cent. Kishanganj again tops the chart with 66.10 percent turnout, and Nawada sits at the lowest with 53.17 percent.
At 11 a.m., the Bihar second-phase voting turnout stood at 31.38 percent, with Kishanganj leading the charts at 34.74 percent, followed by Gaya at 34.07 percent and Jamui at 33.69 percent. The corresponding turnout for phase 1 stood at 27.65 percent.

Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Bharatiya Janata Party leader, stated that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would return with a thumping majority of 180 seats. She says, “Everyone is voting in the name of development, in the name of making a developed Bihar, under the guidance of the NDA government, CM Nitish Kumar, and PM Modi.”
Furthermore, leaders of the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the ruling NDA alliance are making big statements about winning the polls. On the other hand, to ensure peaceful Bihar Elections, Director General of Police Vinay Kumar announced the sealing of borders with Nepal for 72 hours. He stated, “The police force is present at every point. All officers are conducting patrols. We hope the elections will conclude peacefully.”

Voting for the last phase of 122 Assembly seats is underway. Over 37 million voters, including 17.4 million women, are eligible to cast their vote across 45,399 polling stations. Polls across the 20 districts that started at 7 a.m. today will close at 5 p.m. The vote count will take place on November 14.
