Bengaluru Woman Shocked By Rs 60,000 Rent for 2BHK, Shares Struggles During House Hunt

House prices and rents have skyrocketed. Many regions in India have extremely high levels of house prices. Currently, a video is going viral where a woman says that the rent cost in Bengaluru has shocked her. She struggles to find a suitable house on rent for her.

According to Anamika, who posted about the event on Instagram, finding a home in Bengaluru has grown quite challenging. For the previous three weeks, she claimed to be looking for homes in various locations. She stated that it has been much more difficult to find a property since she and her family work from home and do not have a certain location to look in.

They haven’t been able to locate a good dwelling in a week of searching in one location, according to her. She stated that she has resided in Bengaluru for the last 4 to 5 years, but her home search has helped her understand the city much better. Because she has looked for houses throughout the city, she claims she can now identify various locations and streets.

Nevertheless, the deposits and rent have left her stunned. She also stated that a 2BHK was offered for Rs. 60,000 rent, with an additional Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000 for maintenance. She said the quoted security deposits ranged from Rs. 3 lakh, Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 8 lakh to even more.

People are paying whatever rent is requested of them without wondering why it is so expensive, according to the video caption. She also said that bachelors can pay a fair amount for one room in a nice house or society, but families must pay a lot.
