Yash’s Toxic Trailer Update: Makers to Drop a Glimpse on August 8 Ahead of the Gangster Epic’s Release

Yash’s “Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups” has sparked a buzz online once again. After weeks of anticipation, the makers dropped a captivating poster of the film, revealing the release date of its much-awaited trailer. Scheduled to be unveiled on Aug. 8, the audience has begun the countdown already.

Slated to hit the theatrical screens on August 26, the film is directed by Geetu Mohandas. Besides Rocking Star Yash, the film also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and others in key roles. The first teaser debuted in February and left fans and movie buffs intrigued.

On August 1, Yash took to his Instagram feed to drop yet another intriguing poster, along with the release date of its trailer. He captioned the post, writing, “The countdown has begun…#ToxicTrailer on 08-08-2026. #Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups In Cinemas Worldwide from 26-08-2026. #ToxicTheMovie #ToxicOn26thAug.”

Toxic is set against the backdrop of the bygone era. The gripping tale revolves around the coastal paradise of Goa, where a powerful drug cartel pulls the strings behind a facade of sun-soaked beaches and vibrant culture. 

In a nutshell, the action drama is expected to be a savage action-thriller saga that dives straight into the rot festering beneath paradise. Power is not granted; it is seized, and it always demands repayment. As the smuggling routes become battlegrounds, and loyalties unravel into suspicion, paranoia turns into a means of survival. All in all, the film is going to keep the audience hooked with all the blockbuster ingredients.
