Veteran Film Producer RB Choudary Passes Away in Car Crash Near Udaipur
Veteran Film Producer RB Choudary breathed his last in a fatal car accident on May 5, 2025, near Udaipur. His body is expected to be brought to Chennai on Wednesday. He was the founder of Super Good Films, who also played a pivotal role in shaping several successful careers. His sad demise sent shockwaves across the South film fraternity, with several leading actors expressing their grief over social media. Actors Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran paid tribute to the late producer, expressing their deepest condolences.
According to the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Raipur Police Station, Manohar Lal Khoja, the accident took place near Jhoonth. His car driver, Gautam Seervi, sustained serious injuries.

According to the police, RB Choudary was returning with his nephew after attending a relative’s wedding ceremony in Lilamba village. During the journey, near Joontha village, their car suddenly went out of control when cattle strayed on the road. The vehicle subsequently crashed into a roadside wall. Due to the harsh impact, the producer passed away on the spot.
RB Choudary’s filmography boasts several landmark productions, including Cheran Pandian, Nattamai, Poove Unakkaga, Suryavamsam, Thullatha Manamum Thullum, Aanandham, Jilla, and Godfather. His most recent project was Maareesan, starring Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil.
